Homeline’s Heat Shield Technology
Wow – we’re us now in the third month of the British Summer Heatwave! It’s set to get even warmer with the hottest day of the year expected to come this week with the BBC reporting that it will be so warm that people should ‘stay out of the sun’. The wet and windy summer of 2017 is long behind us.
Whilst this sunny spell is great and allows us to let the kids tire themselves out in the garden or at the park during the Summer Holidays, the warm and sunny weather does our fascias and soffits no favours – unless of course you choose Homeline!
Who are Homeline?
Homeline are the UK’s leading manufacturer of maintenance free, BBA approved fascias, soffits, cladding, window trims and cills.
A favourite with over a million homes throughout the UK, Homeline have grown astronomically over the 15 years they’ve been established, with them constantly developing new colours including 3 new greys (Anthracite Grey, Slate Grey & Dark Grey) and manufacturing the first ever brand of recycled roofline, ‘Core’.
Heat Shield Technology
With many homeowners now choosing coloured fascias, soffits and cladding for their homes it’s important that they stay looking fresh and full of colour years down the line.
All of Homeline’s foiled boards (this means all coloured and wood effect boards) are protected by their innovative Heat Shield technology which is specifically designed to stop fascias, soffits, cladding and trims from warping and twisting under the pressure of direct sunlight.
What are the benefits of Heat Shield Technology?
- Prevents cracking, warping and bubbling of the PVC-U substrate
- The foil on Homeline’s products is 12 times thicker than your average ‘foiled’ roofline product making it virtually impossible to scratch – allowing for an easier installation
- Heat Shield technology works by reflecting the NIR rays of the sun to ensure heat isn’t passed to the PVC-U fascia or soffit
- Homeline’s foiled products come with a hefty 10 year guarantee
